dear friends

it's been along long time since i last blogged, Kiku and Dogstar have been very busy and i have spent all my time time chatting with them and checking out our new trellised balcony.

well the nights are drawing in and the jewel nights are beginning to appear.

got a bit noisy here recently the fireworks though beautiful to see are getting more noisy, and they do go on for ever, a whole evening saturday night [4th nov], then our neighbours above us who have access to the roof decided at 11.30 to let off a cascade. we could only hear the bangs and see the cascade of embers landing on our window sill. fortunately over the back garden not over my lovely balcony!

i've been very tired lately, and somewhat off my food. so instead of playing hide and seek with dogstar or chase the redlight laser [well i have to keep him amused!] i havent fancied climbing the stepladder to their loft bed either, so i have kept to the lounge.

dogstar has been making a lot of new ocarinas at home so i sat on his feet just to keep him company. he gets lonley yuo know when kiku goes to work [still painting those mannequins]

can you believe it they haven't asked me to go in and pose for them?

friday night i felt a bit wobbily on my feet and only just made it to my litter tray. ooh that could have been embarassing but kiku was very understanding and i hadnt caused a major problem but she was worried. i admit i felt a bit off colour!

still kiku wrapped me up in a large towel and dogstar drove us to the lovely vet, saturday morning. he says i have a lump in my small intestine, which wont get better. that didnt sound good?! he gave me an injection with vitamin b in it as well which hopefull has made me rally.

we all go back in later this morning to see him again. well my tummy has settled and i ate more for two days than i have for a long time. kiku cooked a lovely fresh chicken last night. she says it was for her and dogstar, but we know really it was for me and it did taste quite nice.

i tried 2 different tins of cat food this morning for a change. just to compare. but now i am very sleepy again i need my beauty sleep at present as i am somewhat thinner than usual, but my coat is glossy... eat your heart out..hahah miaow!

i will blogg later in the day as long as we can sort out this needing a password nonsense

kiku and dogstar have been so busy i haven't had chance to get any where near this keyboard.!

dogstar is away doing a craft show at Felbrigg in north Norfolk and then to the Suffolk show so won't be back till late thursday 1st June at earliest.

kiku has taken the weekend off and isnt doing much.. i can tell you she is wafting around in her Pareo and hardly gets up from the sofa.. resting she calls it! trying to better me at my game and i say this, no competion there, after a while she gets restless and gets up and makes tea. or washes some clothes, well to be accurate not much handwashing goes on, i can tell you she has no idea .. i KNOW  all about handwashing! she uses a machine for most and swears most unladylike as well when it comes out. Dogstar brought in his own washing machine recently from his little house and replaced the old trusty but noisy one kiku had. so silent it may be but beats the hell out of the fibres with a mega spin that is apparently not adjustable!!! the language .. like i said. her new towels in particular are not fluffy and soft anymore even with double fabric conditioner she hates to think what it is doing to her clothes, hence the handwashing recently!

yesterday she was quite restless, far too young and immature can't settle like an old hand like me. i tell her chill out but she won't. up and about fair makes me want to yowl at her well i do but that's another story

she seems to have lost the will to live when it comes to doing her tissue on glass that she was so keen on recently. but as one of her work companions is having a birthday next week and a collection was made and Kiku had to buy goodies with the dosh [no salmon i noticed but some handmade Nougat, Trinidad black chocolate and a thingy to slice avocadoes?] she wasn't happy with the boxes bought to gift wrap the purchases. so she has had a go at tissue work on those as well!

now i believe she is cooking her breakfast that's good some bacon for me as long as she hasn't bought the rindless not too keen on that but it will do at a pinch. the sun is shing again so she may open the windows again and let the soft breeze in.

not much of the sun lately odd as i heard on the tv there was a drought. now don't mind me being picky but i thought drought equals hot dry weather? so there is a hosepipe ban and warnings of periodic water rationing with the ultimate of standpipes in the road!!

so how come here in London we have had the wettest May since Georgian times!! bit before my time but i gather over 100 years. so wet in fact early in the hours of the 20th Saturday dogstar was woken at 2ish am as firebrigade and two police cars claxtoned their way into the road!!

needless to say kiku and i slept through it even though we finaly woke when the tree surgeons arrive to dismantle the fallen tree around 5 ish. well the saws were pervasive! two cars taken out on each side of the road as the tree crashed from one side to the other.

dogstar was relieved when kiku pointed out his van with thousands of pounds worth of Vessel Flutes was only three vehicles away!! he had just come back from a show and hadn't emptied the stock onto his weekend showstand.

how about that for drama? there they were out on our balcony taken photographs even before i had had my breakfast. no sense of priortity these two!

well finally i get to access the pc, especially now that kiku has a brand new keyboard, ergonomic no less it is even easier for me to manage with my paws

she had one before but spilled a glass of water on to it and it went puff, well certainly her language went puff, full of exclamation marks and expletives galore!!

i could have said i had never heard such language, but honesty forbids me.. after all we all know kiku is slightly high maintenance and artistic temperament is on the volatile side..!!!

life has been so hectic here, that kiku hasn't given me a chance to log on. if she isn't using the pc then Dogstar is.. i gather they will be buying another pc, just as long as they don't expect me to contribute from my kittybank!!

just as soon as i get comfortable with the little house in the country i hear they may be giving it up and sharing with G and A, as G is contemplating leaving his long term job in the fashion industry and running away to sea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so it may be a logcabin in the garden for their studio and enormous loft for everything else! i'm not too happy as i will not have the run of the house as i do at present. [ as A is allergic to my fur. though she obviously loves me!] so when i visit i will have to have a snug rug inside the cabin. watch this space for the inside snoop on that

more pics...this angle of me seems to throw people, you kow how when i travel with kiku i usually stretch out along the back window shelf, much to the surprise of the cars travelling behind when they realise i am real, and not a nodding animal perched in the back. well now i have found a new perch in Dogstar's vehicle, as he has a broader dashboard....

well somebody has to keep an eye on them don't they?

aha kiku is just back again wanting to use this, so i'd best be off

lounging as kiku sewed a new duvet cover for the duvet b/f bought her. so huge she had to sew two sheets together to make it, haha fun jumping into that one

what at a relief

i luxuriated at Haddington same place as last august but this time a MAN was with us, well i say a man he's a part of the family now my companion's b/f. so what do i call him???

he knows his place and grooms me regularly and gets very agitated when i throw up. kiku  calls it  chuck up charlie, he doesnt think it funny. i have sat on his lap just to show willing but i notice i don't get to sleep on top of kiku when he's around...........
